Prizmo 5.8 is an important update that brings major improvements for iOS 17, including new OCR languages, support for Personal Voice, and Shortcuts improvements.
NEW FEATURES & IMPROVEMENTS
- Added Vietnamese and Thai support for on-device OCR.
- Added support for Personal Voice(s) in Prizmo text reader. You can now use your own voice after setting it up in iOS settings.

The recently upgraded color/gray cleanup technique has been further tuned for handling photos of documents that are not perfectly centered in the field of view (that would degrade cleaning capabilities). Prizmo 5.5 is an important update that brings document annotation with pencil or finger, dithering processing for black and white images, compatibility with iOS 15 & important bug fixes.

• Markup is compatible with iOS and iPadOS. It requires iOS 14 or later.
DITHERED BLACK&WHITE EXPORTS
Prizmo now makes use of dithering (image regions) when exporting to black & white PDF, such that the density of black dots in the new image approximates the average gray-level in the original picture. This improves the overall quality of exported PDF, while preserving a small file size (ideal for archiving).
ENHANCEMENTS
• Full compatibility and enhancements with iOS 15 including transparent navigation bars and inset grouped table views.
• More compact page navigation buttons / information.
BUG FIXES
• Fixed an OCR bug that could misplace words and/or create overlapping text regions on iOS 15.
• Fixed artefacts that could appear on page borders after cropping a page that uses color cleanup.
• Fixed errouneous page overlay in the camera view that could be misaligned on some iPad devices.
• Fixed animation glitches when rotating pages.
